The construction of the retaining wall along the beach has started and is scheduled to be finished in early February. Construction on the community pier will begin shortly after the wall is completed. Entry landscaping is completed and a permanent sign will follow.

The site infrastructure was substantially completed in November. The community pier and seawall plans have been submitted for a county building permit and construction will commence when the permit is issued. The amenity area shall follow shortly after the completion of the dock and seawall. The entry features are well underway with fencing completed, landscaping installation is in progress, and signage is being assembled off site. Our engineering consultant is currently working the certification of all utilities.
The wall around the stormwater retention pond is complete and curbing was poured along the roadways last week. Our site contractor is presently finishing up the installation of the drainage structures and hauling base material to the site. We are still on schedule for paving the roads in early October. We have awarded a contract to construct both the seawall and community pier, and are anticipating a late October start date. We are currently reviewing the bids for the entry features and will begin installation upon completion of the infrastructure.
August 28, 2006.
All underground utilities are in place and we are finishing the retaining wall around the storm water retention pond. The site contractor has started sub grade stabilization in the roadways and is anticipating pavement of the roads by early October. The design of the entry features and amenity area are near completion. We are currently negotiating the contract to construct the community pier and seawall.
June 22, 2006.
The sewer lines have been installed; storm water structures and piping installation will begin next week with water lines going in soon after.
The amenity area is in the design process and is set to begin upon completion of the subdivision infrastructure.

Exciting news for Soundside Moorings! A Development Order was officially received in April and construction is set to begin the first week in May, 2006.
Progress on site continues as drainage and sewage structures are currently in production.
January 2006
Currently site plans and drawings have been submitted to the county for approval.
The bayfront site has been cleared of debris and fallen trees.
Right of ways and retention ponds have been cleared and are ready for construction upon county approval.
Erosion control measures have been installed.
New aerial and site images are forthcoming in the next few weeks.
